Super Watchdog USB-C Power Supply Requirements

Hello! I just added my Super Watchdog v9 to my RPi5 and I can't seem to get it to take power through the Watchdog's USB-C port. I've tried several different power supplies, all of which have Power Delivery and can power my RPi5 via the RPi5's USB-C, but none work on the Watchdog board's USB-C. I had assumed that since the Super Watchdog v9 is stated to be compatible with RPi5 and doesn't mention any special considerations for USB-C power, that it would be compatible with the RPi5 power supply. But that doesn't seem to be the case. What are the watchdog's USB-C power supply requirements when connected to an RPi5?

In case it helps, I was able to boot my RPi off the batteries and install the wdt CLI. Here's some info I queried from the watchdog while power was connected to the USB-C port. I think that "wdt -g v" should be much higher than it is?

Code:
$ wdt -g fv
4.0
$ wdt -g v
46
$ wdt -g vr
5255
$ wdt -g vb
2928
$ wdt -g c
0
$ wdt -g t
37
$ wdt -g pbs
0
$ wdt -g pbe
0
$ wdt -g bint
0

I was eventually able to get my Super Watchdog v9 to work. Although the product page claims that this hat is compatible with Raspberry Pi 5, it seems that compatibility does not extend to the RPi5's power supply. I suspect that this hat must not support Power Delivery through its USB-C port. To be fair, it never claimed to support Power Delivery. But it did claim to be RPi5 compatible and the RPi5's USB-C port is Power Delivery. Feels like the manufacturer should call that gap out somewhere...

Hi,
Yes, you are right, the watchdog can not handle power negotiation on USB-C connector, but it can provide power for the RPI5.
We plan to solve this on the next revision.
