Power

Hello,

My 4 in 4 relay out board was just delivered. I am stacking in on a RPi 4B and I intend on powering the board from the RPi. I am not seeing the power indicator LED illuminated. The RPi is powered up and working great. I have also tried on another RPi 4B. Am I missing something easy?

Thanks in advance

Hi,
If you plug the card correctly in the Raspberry's 40 pin connector (using the provided standoffs) there are 2 possibilities:
1) The LED on the card is dead
2) The card itself is dead
To figure which is the case please install the software flowing the instructions from GitHub
then open a terminal and run the following command "4rel4in -list" to see if Raspberry detects the card.

Anyway, if you did enabled the I2C, please tell us the order number so we can send you a replacement. We assume you did not use the card outside the specs.

We will send you a replacement. Sorry for the inconvenience. The cards are tested during the production process, if is not too complicated, please send us pictures with bottom and top sides of the card.

Alex.
