esp32 boot mode select

I have the esp32-pi dip switches 1&2 on 3&4 off.
I was able to upload a program but now when i try to upload the board is not in upload mode.
do I have to strap gpio zero to ground to get into upload mode?
I'm using the ardunio ide 2.3.2

Hi,

The dip switches are correct, you should be able to program it. As you can see in the schematics on page 3 the gpio 0 is controlled by the USB chip.
