5V Power Supply on Building Automation Board

I'm planning to use two of the Building Automation V4 boards and two of the Eight Relay boards in a single stack. I will be powering the two Building Automation boards from a single 24V dc supply.

I am wondering how this set up works on the 5V lines. There will effectively be two 5V supplies in parallel, one on each of the Building Automation boards. I'm wondering how the load is split between the two 5V supplies and will the current drawn from each of them be stable?

Although common engineering practice might not recommend it, we found out that switching power supplies of the same voltage are quite happy to operate in parallel. All will contribute to the load. If you do not have more than a few relays on at the same time, probably one 24V power supply will be enough. The Building Automation can supply up to 3A on the 5V line. Each relay takes about 80mA, so if you have many relays on, just add a 5V supply to one of the 8-Relays.
