Super Watchdog UPS v7.0 and RPi 5 no power, ...

I recently bought a Super-Watchdog UPS v7.0 that I would like to use with my Raspberry Pi 5. I have also 2 18650 batteries in the holder.
I can't get it to work: when I put the Watchdog UPS Hat on my Pi 5 and power everything, with an original Raspberry Pi Power supply for RPi5, via the hat's USB-C 5V connector, nothing happens (the Pi doesn't get power nor there are any LEDs flashing on the Hat).

Any idea what can be wrong?

Thanks.

There is a chance that the Raspberry Pi power supply complies with the USB3 standard and needs to negotiate the power requirements with the device under power. If this is the case, the watchdog has not implemented the standard and the power source does not start. If you could test with a normal 5V power supply connected to the watchdog pluggable connector, you can test the theory.

I experienced the same issue with 2 of the Super WDT's and the RPI power supply. I am powering them through the 10-24vdc connector. I do get the PSU low voltage detected warnings powering through the 10-24v connector, and powered from the USB-C. but the RPI-5 seems to remain stable with the warning.

They will power up from the USB port on my UPS, and from a USB wall wart that is rated for 3A. wdt -get V is 4908, wdt -get VR 4875, wdt -get VB 4165, wdt -get c 2. I am going to hunt down a 5A rated wall wart, or try and dig out my bench power supply and see if the voltage will run closer to 5V with that.

Powered from the 10-24v port with an 18V 65w power supply V=5220, and VR=5173. Something in the RPI-5 insists that it should be powered from an official RPI USB-C power supply to not have the low voltage warning.
