Eight MOSFETS switch speed

I have an Eight MOSFETS Version 3.1 board. I need the MOSFETS to be able to switch on and off at millisecond speed. I am wondering if the version 3.1 board is able to support this speed. If not, does the version 5 board support it?

Another problem was that the speed of one mosfet flickering on and off was noticeably slower when I tried to flicker 2+ mosfets at the same time. I am also wondering if the version 5 board will allow the mosfets to switch at high speeds without interfering with one another.

Hi,

-The Eight MOSFET V3.1 is made with an I2C IOExpander, the switch time is limited by the I2C speed and by the fact that Raspberry OS is not real-time.
- Switching 2 or more channels with different commands will increase the delay but you can set the state of all relays in a single command, check the CLI online help for that.
- If you need faster switching for implementing a PWM, the last version of the card is your solution because uses a local processor which generates PWM on each channel.
